Surrendering Your Golden Retriever

RGRV understands that sometimes life happens, and people find themselves unable to properly care for their dog. We know that rehoming your dog can be a difficult and emotional decision. Our process is non-judgmental, confidential and supportive.

What Happens When I Surrender my Dog?

  • Foster Care: Your dog will be placed into foster care, where we assess and address any medical or behavioural issues.

  • Assessment: All foster carers are thoroughly vetted by RGRV to ensure they provide a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Rehoming: Once ready, we will find a suitable permanent home for your dog.
